TWO YEARS ON FROM ABBOTT’S ROOTY HILL PENSION PROMISE
August 28, 2015
Two years ago today Tony Abbott promised Australian pensioners before the last election:
“No cuts or changes to pensions.”
TONY ABBOTT – LEADERS DEBATE, ROOTY HILL – 28 AUGUST 2013
Two years later Tony Abbott has teamed up with the Greens to cut the pension to 330,000 pensioners.
Two years later Tony Abbott wants to increase the pension eligibility age to 70.
Two years later Tony Abbott still has legislation before the Parliament to cut pension indexation by $80 a week over the next ten years.
No wonder the Liberal Party have banned Tony Abbott from campaigning in Canning.
Pensioners in Canning know Tony Abbott will lie to them, just like he lied to pensioners at Rooty Hill two years ago.
Pensioners know that there is only one party that has stood up for pensioners over the last two years.
Only Labor has stood up for pensioners.
