PORTER’S HEART STILL IN UNFAIR ZOMBIE CUTS

May 12, 2017

The Minister for Social Services, Christian Porter has admitted that the Turnbull Government’s $13 billion in unfair zombie cuts were ‘reasonable’.

Asked last night about the Turnbull Government’s unfair zombie cuts the Christian Porter said:

“They were largely reasonable efforts to make savings.”

CHRISTIAN PORTER, RN DRIVE, 11 MAY 2017

This is just another indication that the Turnbull Government can’t wait to reintroduce its unfair and savage zombie cuts to families and pensioners, as soon as they get the chance.

Malcolm Turnbull also said the unfair zombie cuts had ‘merit’, stating:

“It's not a question of good or bad. I mean they were, they were measures that we thought... we... which we believed had merit.”

The Finance Minister also said:

“…Regrettably we had to make these judgements but that certainly wasn’t our first preference.”

Australians know they can’t trust the Coalition to make big unfair cuts to pensioners and families.

As soon as they can the Turnbull Government will bring back cuts to Family Tax Benefits.

They will bring back their cuts to Paid Parental Leave.

And they will bring back cuts to the Age Pension.

You can’t trust the Turnbull Government on fairness.
