MORE WEASEL WORDS FROM ABBOTT GOVERNMENT ON NDIS
April 17, 2014
Tony Abbott must uphold his promise to deliver the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) on time and in full.
According to a report by Fairfax media, yesterday during an NDIS Webinar the Assistant Minister for Social Services, Senator Mitch Fifield, again refused to rule out delaying the rollout of the NDIS.
Any cuts or delays to the full rollout of the NDIS would see Tony Abbott break a very clear promise to 460,000 Australians with disability, their families and carers.
Since Federal Labor launched a national campaign on Monday calling for No Cuts, No Delays to the NDIS, more than 8,000 Australians have signed the online petition.
The Australian community has a very clear message for Tony Abbott: No Cuts and No Delays to the NDIS.
People with disability, their families and carers have waited long enough.
They shouldn’t have to wait any longer.
