Awarding the achievements of our pensioners

Jenny Macklin MP is calling for nominations to recognise the contributions made by local aged pensioners to our community.

In commemoration of the Centenary of Australia’s Age Pension, along with Victorian Seniors’ Week running from 4 - 11 October, Jenny Macklin MP is calling for nominations to recognise the contributions made by local aged pensioners to our community.
Ms Macklin is offering local aged pensioners, and those that undertake voluntary work in support of pensioners, a special commemorative certificate to reflect the appreciation of the federal government and our local community.
Nominated persons can be recognised for any form of dedicated service to our local community, including volunteer work, academia, sports or charitable work.
People nominated by Friday October 2nd will be invited along to an award ceremony with Jenny Macklin MP at the Watsonia RSL on Wednesday October 7th at
2.00pm.
