Jenny on Jagajaga

Jagajaga is an active, vibrant and enterprising community.

The electorate is located in a beautiful part of Melbourne, with the Yarra and Plenty Rivers and the Darebin and Diamond Creeks running through it.  It has a number of parks and fantastic bike and walking paths.  Jagajaga is also home to impressive medical facilities such as Austin Health, the adjoining Mercy Hospital and the Repatriation Hospital.

The Simpson Army Barracks are in the centre of the electorate with La Trobe University nearby.  It's an area with excellent schools and numerous sporting facilities, making it a great place to live.

There is a great spirit of volunteerism in Jagajaga with local community members working to protect our local environment, run sports teams, foster the arts and maintain our local history. Jagajaga also has active Guides & Scouts groups.

I believe being a good local Member of Parliament means helping individuals to solve problems, staying in close contact with the community, listening to their needs and concerns, and improving services for the electorate.

One of the reasons I entered politics was to stand up for those who aren't always heard - I consider this one of my most important roles as the Member for Jagajaga.

Please ring on 9459 1411 or come in to my Electorate Office in Heidelberg at 149 Burgundy St Heidelberg to find out how I can assist you."
